More Precedents

Board Art Museum by Zaha Hadid Architects
A pleated facase pf stainless steel  was designed to contrast with the surrounding red brickwork of the Michigan State University's Collegiate Gothic North campus.

What I really love about this piece of architecture is the angles and lighting. The stainless steel creates strong shadows contrasted with picking up reflective light. The use of 'fins' fraying out the exterior of the building structure gives it an extra level to the design with this 3D effect.  I could try manipulating this idea of thin fins sticking out the exterior or even interior of my building structure and see where this takes me.
