Why do I carry out the ritual of cleaning and organising?
Everything has to appear physically and visually clean and organised. It helps my mind stay calm knowing things are in there place and they are clean. It stresses me to see mess and dirt just disgusts me. Everything has its own place and it stays in its place. I can't start doing any work until I know and can see my rooms clean and tidy with everything it its place. I can't concentrate on my work until its organised. Also I can't eat off any plates, bowls and cutlery or cook with any utensils until I know they are clean. They may appear visually clean but I have to wash them before I used them so that I know they are clean. It makes me feel gross and I can't eat my food off plates people have eaten off and not properly cleaned. I also had to clean and tidy the whole flat kitchen when I first moved in on the Weekend.
How I carry out my ritual of cleaning and organising?
Before I eat everyday I have to wash everything (I'm going to eat with for that meal) with dishwashing liquid and with my 'clean' dishwashing brush and then dry them on my 'clean' tea towel because everyone else's is 'dirty.' Everything also has its place to go back to and thats where it stays because than it is organised. Everything in my room has a place and it goes back to its place after being used, same with the rest of the flat. I have to make sure weekly (or when required) the kitchen and bathrooms are cleaned and if no one in the flat is going to do it then I'll spend my time cleaning and tidying it until its done and clean. Then once I've done that I have to clean my hands throughly and have a shower plus put my clothes in the wash because now they have become dirty from me cleaning.
